2023 CSC Academic All-District® team

Outdoor Track 2023 (Sophomore)
Earned a career best of 2:24.45 in the 800m at the Aggie Classic…added another career best in the 1500m with a time of 5:05.59 at the Vertklasse.
 
Indoor Track 2022-23 (Sophomore)
Finished 10^th in the 1000m at the Mondo College Invitational with a time of 3:16.52…posted a career best in the 400m with a time of 1:06.78 in the Marlin Invitational.
 
Cross-Country 2023 (Sophomore)
Notched a career best time of 20:53.3 in the 5K at the Royals XC Challenge…added another career best in the 4K at the Hokie Open with a time of 16:53.4

Outdoor Track 2022 (Freshman)
Serena had some solid performances competing in five of the eight races during the outdoor season. At the High Point Vertklasse Meeting, she ran a personal best time of 5:17.68 in the 1500m. Henderson finished 12th in the 800m, crossing the line at 2:26.36 at the SoCon Outdoor Championship, while also being named to the SoCon Outdoor Championship All-Freshman Team.

Indoor Track 2021-22 (Freshman)
Serena Henderson competed in all of the races throughout her first indoor season. At the JDL February Multi & Track Meet, she ran the 400m, finishing 6th overall with a time of 1:10.48. Serena continued to run well, as she ran the 800m (2:30.55) at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational and finished 12th overall with a time of 5:40.73 at the SoCon Indoor Championship.She was named to the SoCon Indoor Championship All-Freshman Team.

Cross-Country 2021 (Freshman)
Competed in three of the six meets this season… Ran a career-best at the 6k ECU Pirate Invitational with a time of 27:30.1 placing 64th… Ran a career-best in the 5k Louisville Classic with a time of 21:38.2… Competed in the 5k Adidas XC Challenge 22:50.7 placing 67th.

High School
Competed in cross country and track & field at New Rochelle High School, graduating in 2021… Named Westchester County All-County spring track & field third team in 2019 for 4x800m relay … Earned Westchester County All-County winter track & field in 2021 … Selected to Girls’ Section 1 Class A Track & Field second team in 4x800m relay … Received Principal’s Award in Girls Cross Country and Girls Outdoor Track & Field.
