Outdoor Track 2022 (Senior)
Thomas had a fantastic season, racing his best performances across different events. At the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic, he ran a career best in the 5000m, crossing the line at 14:45.17. When the SoCon Outdoor Championship came around, Thomas finished 8th overall, his best place out of his four years at UNCG.

Indoor Track 2021-22 (Senior)
Thomas Knepshield competed in all races throughout his final indoor season at UNCG. He had a personal best in the 3000m at the Carolina Challenge, finishing 16th with a time of 8:37.03. Thomas had a strong performance in the 5000m at the SoCon Indoor Championship, placing 16th and crossing the line at 15:13.64.

Cross-Country 2021 (Senior) 
Competed in five of the six meets this season… Ran a career best in the 6k Elon Opener with a time of 18:49.1 placing 17th… Ran a career best in the 8k Louisville Classic with a time of 24:52.5… Competed and ran a career best in the 10k NCAA Division I Southeast Region Cross Country Championships with a time of 32:15.5.

Outdoor Track 2021 (Junior)
Placed fifth in the 5,000 meters at the Catamount Classic, finishing in 15 minutes 6.59 seconds ... Finished 17th in the 5,000 at the SoCon Championships ... Ran the 1,500 meters in 4:05.92 at the Charlotte 49er Classic ... Took 10th in the 10,000 meters at the High Point Vertklasse Meeting in 31:52.21.

Cross-Country 2020 (Junior)
Competed in the SoCon championship, UNCG’s only race of the cross-country season … Helped the Spartans finish fourth overall after completing the race in 18:54.08 (17th overall)

Indoor Track 2019-20 (Sophomore)
Started the indoor season in the JDL Early Bird Invitational 5000m (12.8), finishing in a time of 15:25.63 ... finished the 3000m in 8:51.31 at the Camel City Invitational (2.7) ... posted a career best 15:11.55 to come in ninth during the Darius Dixon Memorial Invite 5000m (2.15) ... had a career best in the 3000m, running an 8:43.01 in the SoCon Indoor Championships (2.29).

Cross-Country 2019 (Sophomore)
Had a personal best 6K at the adidas XC Challenge (9.20) crossing the finish line in 19:19.5 ... finished the NCAA Southeast Region Championship 10K (11.15) in 33:47.2.

Outdoor Track 2019 (Freshman)
Opened her first outdoor campaign at the Charlotte 49er Classic (3.14), completing the 1500m in 4:13.02 ... finished the HPU VertKlasse Meeting 1500m in 4:18.01 (3.22).

Indoor Track 2018-19 (Freshman)
Ran a 9:07.85 in the 3000m while competing in the Virginia Tech Invitational (1.11) ... 4:30.85 mile took eighth during the JDL College Meet Madness (1.27).

Cross-Country 2018 (Freshman)
Made collegiate debut at the Elon Opener (8.31), running the 3.73 mile in 20:17.2 ... season best 25:50.8 in the Louisville Classic 8K (9.29) ... finished the 10K in 33:51.4 at the NCAA Southeast Region Championship (11.9).

High School
Lettered all four years in cross country and track and field at Saint Xavier High School in Louisville, Kentucky … Helped the Tigers win three-straight state championships in cross country and a state runner-up finish his senior year in the 4x800-meter relay … Earned All-State honors in 2016, 2017 and 2018 … Recorded personal-bests of 15:53.50 in the 5,000-meter, 4:30.56 in the 1,600-meter and 9:52.61 in the 3,200-meter.
