At UNCG:
2007-08: Posted a 6-18 overall record, wrestling at the 141 lb. weightclass... totaled two decisions, three major decisions and one technical fall... recorded major decision wins over Boston University’s Ryan Buff (13-3, Southern Scuffle), Gardner-Webb’s Chas Franz (14-6, dual match) and Davidson’s Kip Thompson (13-1, MatJam/SoCon Championships)... notched decision wins over The Citadel’s Mike Fenton and Davidson’s Vitaly Radsky... lone techincal fall win was a 16-0 victory over Davidson’s Jack Templeton.
2006-07: Saw limited time on the mat... went 1-2 on the season with a fall over Michael Martin of Old Dominion at the 2006 Southern Scuffle.
2005-06: Attended Hawaii Pacific Univeristy, but did not wrestle.
2004-05: Finished the season with a 4-7 overall record, splitting time at both 133 and 149 lbs.
High School: 2004 graduate of Saint Louis High School in Honolulu, HI... four-time letter winner in wrestling for the Crusaders where he competed at the 103, 112, 130, and 140 pound weight levels... 2002 and 2003 individual state champion, runner-up in 2001 and 2004, and member of the 2001 Hawaii State Wrestling Championship team... also competed in judo where he was a two-time letter winner at 145 pounds... was 2003 state runner-up... also competed in cross country for one year.
Club: Wrestled three years on Team Hawaii.
