Biography

UNCG alumnus Nate Parmenter enters his first season as an assistant coach at UNCG.

Parmenter will work with the light weights as a coach and will also assist in the recruiting efforts and summer camp. In addition to his coaching duties with the team, Parmenter is also an assistant coach with the Youth, Education and Sport (Y.E.S.) wrestling club.

A native of Canandaigua, N.Y., Parmenter was a four-year wrestler for the Spartans from 1999-2003 where he wrestled 157 and 165 pounds. He graduated in 2003 magna cum-laude with a bachelor's degree in accounting as well as a minor in economics.
