2007-08: Competed in just the North Carolina State Open, going 1-2... lone win was a 8-3 decision over Appalachian State’s Glen Holmes.

 

2006-07: Wrestled mainly at 174 lbs., but competed twice at 165 lbs. ... finished the season with a 5-6 overall record, 0-1 in the Southern Conference, 4-6 in tournaments... went 2-2 at the Davidson Open, defeating Jordan Lowe of Gardner-Webb and Appalachian State’s Danny Carrasco... recorded a 5:33 fall victory over Dillon Landi of Campbell.

 

2005-06: Finished the season 6-7...started the year by going 4-1 at the Wolfpack Open with all four wins being fall victories... final two wins came at The Citadel Open against David Pelsany of Gardner-Webb and Aaron Glover of Duke... recorded a 6-6 tournament record.

 

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Bandys High School... wrestled for coaches Ronnie Sigmon and Forrest Blake... finished career ranked fifth on the school’s career wins list with a 164-24 record... was an all-state and all-conference selection three different times... helped guide the Trojans to three state championships... 2002 North Carolina state champion at 152 pounds during freshman season... posted a 52-11 record as a freshman... suffered a knee injury that halted his run at a state title in 2003... came back in 2004 and was the state runner-up at 160 pounds during junior campaign... claimed Midwest Regional crowns as a junior and senior... owned a 36-3 record as a junior and went 33-3 as a senior... placed third at the state meet as a senior... also played four years on the football team and was a second team all-region selection at linebacker.
