2008-09: Split time starting at 197 pounds with Ryan Sughrue ... tallied a 6-9 record during his junior year ... went 1-1 in SoCon dual matches with a 6-0 over Ronald Ellsworth of VMI ... defeated Tim Miller from Virginia Tech, 6-0, at the Southern Scuffle ... five of his 15 opponents on the season were ranked in the top-20, including three in the top-10 ... scored a 21-4 tech fall over Joe Trotto from NC State in the Spartans' dual win ... also threw the javelin for UNC Greensboro's men's track and field team in the spring ... set the school record with a throw of 52.58 meters at the Wake Forest Open.
2007-08: Split time between the 174 and 184 weightclasses, going 8-8 on the season, 0-1 in the Southern Conference and 4-3 in dual matches and 4-5 in tournaments... totaled five major decisions, two decisions and one fall... posted a 1:11 fall victory over Virginia Tech's Tommy Spellman at 184 lbs. (Feb. 3)... was second in the 174 weightclass at the North Carolina State Open with major decision wins over North Carolina State's Randal Goodman (11-2) and Appalachian State's Antoine Jones (13-1) before falling 8-2 to Virginia Tech's Eddie Baughan in the finals... picked up major decision wins in the 184 lb. weightclass over George Mason's Zach Ulm (8-0), North Carolina State's Dane Coffee (10-1) and The Citadel's Brian Hurley (11-0)... finished fourth at 184 lbs. at the Mat Jam/SoCon Championships after going 2-2 with a 6-2 decision win over VMI's Curtis Moore and the major decision over Hurley.
2006-07: Went 3-6 in his first season as a Spartan at 174 lbs... picked up first collegiate win against Adam Stout of Shippensburg with a 4-0 decision at the West Virginia Open... recorded a 16-4 major decision over Derving Rios of UNC Pembroke at the Pembroke Classic.
High School: Four-year letterwinner in wrestling at Boiling Springs High School... finished 8th in state and earned Sentinal first team honors... member of the district champion team... also a three-year letterwinner in football... named Sentinal Defensive Player of the Year... earned two letters in track and holds the school record in the javelin.
