Braxton Carroll was hired as Director of Live Productions for UNCG Athletics in January 2026.
Carroll joins the Spartans after a previous stint at Presbyterian College where he served as Director of Video Production. While with the Blue Hose, he directed and coordinated all broadcasting & video productions for the Presbyterian Athletic Department and ensured quality standards were met for ESPN and the Big South Conference.
Prior to his role at Presbyterian, Carroll worked as a video production assistant with SoCon foe Western Carolina as an undergraduate student. With the Catamounts he fulfilled broadcast roles that included; producer, director, technical director, replay lead, graphics operation, A1 & camera operator for nearly 200 Western Carolina sports broadcasts on ESPN+.
Carroll received his Bachelor’s of Science in Communication with a concentration in Broadcasting from Western Carolina University in May 2025.
