Darian Rahmat was named the UNCG assistant strength and conditioning coach in October 2023.
Rahmat comes to Greensboro after a stint as the head strength and conditioning coach and assistant women’s basketball coach at Walla Walla University from Sept. 2020 to June 2021.
Prior to his time in Washington, Rahmat served as a graduate assistant strength and condition coach at the University of Central Arkansas from Sept. 2021 to July of 2023. While in Arkansas, Rahmat earned his Master’s of Science in Kinesiology: Sports and Exercise Science.
The Sanford, Fla., native has developed his career with three internships within sports performance with the University of Central Florida, Impact Basketball, and Elon University. In addition, he worked part-time as a performance coach for DI Training in Orlando.
Rahmat earned his Baechlor’s of Science in Exercise Science: Physical Education from Pacific Union College. While earning his degree, he was a NAIA basketball player from 2016-2017.
