Devon Moskowitz joined the UNCG women's tennis coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2026 after four years as a Spartan student-athlete competing in men's tennis.
“Devon spent four years being one of the best competitors on the men’s tennis team, which no doubt contributed to the complete transformation of his tennis over that time,” said Head Coach Mat Iandolo. “Our team is extremely excited to benefit from his insights.”
As a Spartan student-athlete, Moskowitz concluded his senior campaign competing in all 22 matches and going 9-11 in singles play. The Alpharetta, Georgia, native went 11-8 in doubles action last season teaming up with former Spartan John Gabelic. During his junior year, he was ranked No. 79 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Men's Division I Doubles rankings after teaming up with Andrew Black for a 7-0 record in the fall of 2024.
From December 2022 to August 2023, he served as a tennis instructor for Windward Lake Club, where he provided tennis instruction and player development coaching. He also assisted with racquet stringing and club operations.
Moskowitz served as a graduate teaching assistant during his senior year at UNCG, where he assisted faculty with course administration and student support. He earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from UNCG in 2025, concentrating in data science and machine learning. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in computer science.
