UNC Greensboro

Joining the men's soccer staff in August 2026, former Spartans star Emmanuel Hagan '24 returns to Greensboro after spending a year at Lees-McRae College as an assistant coach. In his lone season with the Bobcats, Hagan oversaw the squad's run to the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Championship and All-Conference seasons for Adam Condron and Hayato Morimoto.

As a player with the Spartans, the Accra, Ghana, native played a pivotal role in UNCG capturing three Southern Conference (SoCon) titles in 2021, 2022, and 2024. A three-time First Team All-SoCon selection as a defender, Hagan also garnered United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team (2022) and Third Team (2021) honors during his time in Greensboro. He finished his collegiate career with four goals and three assists and was a part of two NCAA Tournament runs, including a trip to the Elite Eight in 2022.

Hagan was also heavily involved with the Chris Rich Soccer Camp in Greensboro, where he served as a coach for youth training sessions while also assisting with individual training and development.

He graduated from UNCG in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in recreation and parks management with a concentration in community recreation and event planning.
