UNC Greensboro

Chastain started as Strategic Communications Coordinator in August 2025 for UNCG.  

Prior to UNCG, Grayson Chastain worked at Wofford College as an intern in the 2024-25 athletic season. He served as the primary media contact for both men’s soccer and softball. Chastain also created the first media guide in Wofford softball’s history.  

He previously was an intern for the athletic department at Daytona Beach Community College in the 2023- 24 and worked with men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and softball.  

A native of Ormond Beach, Florida, Chastain was a member of the Norwich University baseball team for one season in 2019. Chastain graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management with a minor in Marketing. He currently has a two-year-old son named Jaxson Chastain.
