Jaylen Stowe was hired in April 2026 after two years at Cincinnati as an assistant coach/director of player development under former Spartan Head Coach Wes Miller.
Before rejoining the Bearcats, Stowe was an assistant coach/director of recruiting at High Point during the 2023-24 season under Head Coach Alan Huss, when the Panthers went 27-9 overall and 13-3 in the Big South. High Point was crowned the Big South Regular Season Champions that year. They also received the program’s first invite to the 2024 College Basketball Invitational.
Stowe was a graduate assistant with Coach Miller from 2021-23 and before then he was with the Spartans during the shortened 2020-21 COVID-19 season also as a graduate assistant.
As a player, Stowe competed at Mercer University, where he was a four-year member of the basketball program. He played in 114 games with the Bears and had a season-high 10.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game his senior season. He later gained professional experience with the Richmond Elite in the ABA following his collegiate career.
Stowe earned his Bachelor of Arts in media studies from Mercer in 2019 and a Master of Science in human resources from the Cincinnati in 2023.
