Kayla Foster comes to UNCG in July of 2025 as the Head Dance Team Coach.
Foster started dancing at a very young age, continuing throughout grade school, college and into the professional world. She has continued to grow her love for dance through teaching, choreographing, and performing. Foster has always had a special interest in training individuals for and coaching dance teams after being captain on her high school dance team, on UNCG's dance team and on a professional dance team.
Foster gained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with K-12 Licensure from UNCG, while also serving on the UNCG Spartan G’s from 2017-2020. While on the Spartan G’s, Foster served as Team Co-Captain from 2019-20, where she choreographed, taught and performed halftime and cadence routines.
She most recently performed jazz, pom and hip-hop styled dances and cadences for Venom Dance Team for the Greensboro Carolina Cobras arena football team’s large games and events. Throughout her career, Foster has choreographed and taught at numerous studios, including this past year she was full time at four different studios.
