UNC Greensboro

Shekinah Person joined the UNCG Athletics Department in April 2023 as the Business Services Coordinator within the Business Operations department.  

Prior to her arrival in Greensboro, Person spent a stint at Hampton University in Hampton, VA., where she started as a graduate assistant in the office of residence life and housing and later transitioned into working as an intern in the athletics department. She graduated from Hampton in December 2022 with her Master’s of Science in Sport Administration-Intercollegiate Athletics.  

Person achieved her Bachelor’s of Science in Sport Management from Cleveland State University, where she worked several internships and had several experiential learning opportunities throughout her education in Cleveland, Ohio. Person is a native of Toledo, Ohio and is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
