Travis Loecke was named the coordinator for facilities and game operations in January 2024.
The Urbandale, Iowa, native earned his Bachelor’s degree in Event Management with a minor in Hospitality Management from Iowa State University in May 2023.
Loecke has a wide range of experience in facility operations. He most recently worked as an Operations Mavrk Intern at Outlyr in Rogers, Arkansas from May 2023 to October 2023.
While a student at Iowa State, Loecke served as a Game Day Operations Intern for the Iowa State Athletics Department, where he served as the lead intern for softball, soccer and indoor track & field. In addition, he assisted in the execution of the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championship.
Loecke also gained experience at the 122nd U.S. Open in the Summer of 2022, where he assisted vendors and other USGA departments. In addition, he began his facilities and operations career at the Des Moines Golf and Country Club from March 2017-2021.
