Blake joined UNCG on June 6, 2022, where he previously spent the last two years at Troy as the Associate Athletics Director for Revenue Generation following nearly five years at East Carolina.
At Troy, Blake oversaw the development and execution of various revenue streams including annual giving, major gifts and revenue generating events. Additionally, he was directly involved in all fundraising and donor loyalty programs associated with the Trojan Warrior Club and tasked with creating new revenue opportunities within the department.
Prior to joining the Troy staff, Blake was elevated to Director of Development at East Carolina in April 2019 following just over three years as an Assistant Director of Development. Blake oversaw ECU's Charlotte office, serving the Pirate Club in the area by directly administering the Club's efforts in further expanding its presence and to increase membership in the area.
Blake arrived at ECU from the Wolfpack Club after joining the organization as an intern in August 2015. At N.C. State, he assisted the staff with annual giving, major gifts, membership and special event efforts.
Prior to N.C. State, he completed a graduate internship with the Gamecock Club at the University of South Carolina from August of 2014 through May of 2015.
The Pinehurst, North Carolina native obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration from N.C. State in 2012, before completing his master's degree in sport and entertainment management at South Carolina in 2014.
