The UNC Greensboro men's basketball team fell to Norfolk State this afternoon, 75-70, in Norfolk, VA. With the loss, UNCG slips to 3-7 on the season and Norfolk State improves to 2-5.

Jay Joseph, Ronnie Taylor and Josh Gross each scored 12 points for UNCG this afternoon. The 12 points for Josh Gross were a career high for the sophomore.

The Spartans shot 50.0% from the field and outrebounded Norfolk State, 28-25, but the host Spartans did just enough to earn the victory.

Pacing Norfolk State was Daryl Towe's 19 points. Three other Norfolk State players reached double figures.

The Spartans will return to action again on New Year's Eve, December 31, at High Point. Tipoff is slated for 7 pm.
