(Tampa, FL) - The UNC Greensboro men's soccer team captured the 2002 AmeriSuites/Reebok South Florida Classic title with a 3-0 victory over Stetson on Sunday afternoon in Tampa, FL. With the victory the Spartans improve to 3-1 on the young season.

UNCG's Adrian Worthen (So./Morehead City, NC) scored his first collegiate goal of his career in the first half to put the Spartans up 1-0. The goal would prove to be enough as Charlie DeMello (Sr./Shreveport, LA) got his first start in goal this season and responded with the team's second shutout of the season.
