UNCG-Western Carolina Box Score

CULLOWHEE, NC - Kellyn Thaut had 14 kills to lead Western Carolina to a 3-0 win over UNC Greensboro in Southern Conference volleyball action on Saturday afternoon.

The Catamounts (6-7, 2-2 SoCon) won the three games by scores of 30-18, 30-14 and 30-26. UNCG hit just .018 for the match, recording 33 kills and 31 errors. Western Carolina hit .289 for the match, recording 38 kills and just 12 errors.

Freshman Alysia Rosvold led UNCG with 13 kills. Lauren Richards added seven kills for the Spartans (2-16, 0-3 SoCon).

The Spartans host Wofford on Wednesday at Fleming Gymnasium beginning at 7 p.m.
