UNCG-East Tennesse State Box Score

JOHNSON CITY, TN UNC Greensboro lost in three games to Southern Conference foe East Tennessee State tonight by scores of 30-27, 30-23 and 30-16 at Brooks Gymnasium. Cindy VanDervoort once again led the Spartans with 11 kills.

Lori Collins added eight kills for UNCG (3-30, 0-15 SoCon), while Rebekah Faulise had a team-high 14 digs. Alysia Rosvold added 11 digs of her own.

Callie Kiselich led ETSU (6-22, 4-10 SoCon) with a match-high 12 kills, while Sara Scandiffio added 10 put aways for the Bucs. Brittany Kessel dished out 22 assists, while Karen Freeburg came up with 16 digs.

Faulise, who hails from Mooresville, NC, set the UNCG single-season dig record with 586. She broke the previous record of 578, which was set by Missi Olson in 1991.

UNCG will wrap up the season with a Saturday evening match at Chattanooga beginning at 6 pm. Meanwhile, ETSU will host Elon tomorrow at 1:30 pm at Brooks Gym.
