GREENSBORO, N.C. – Chloe Buehler (Perrysburg, Ohio/Penn State) recorded her fourth shutout of the season and first in Southern Conference action Friday night when the UNCG women's soccer team battled to a scoreless double overtime draw against Wofford (2-9-1, 0-2-1 SoCon) at the UNCG Soccer Stadium. The Spartans remain unbeaten by the Terriers with a 21-0-4 all-time record in the series.

UNCG (3-7-2, 0-1-1 SoCon) outshot the visitors 12-7 in the match. Wofford held a 4-3 advantage on corner kicks while Buehler logged five saves.

Georgia Brown (Queenstown, New Zealand/St. Hilda's Collegiate) fired off three of UNCG's shots, two on goal, to lead the Spartans in attempts. Lauren Daniels (Clayton, N.C./Clayton) and Melissa Canizalez (Las Vegas, Nev./New Mexico State) also tallied multiple shots for UNCG.

Canizalez was joined by Emily Stump (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing), Regan Lehman (Wilmington, Del./Padua Academy) and Gabbi Charles (Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville), who all logged all 110 minutes on the field for UNCG.

Friday's match was the first time UNCG played for the home crowd since September 11. The match was also tabbed as UNCG's Go Gold match; the Spartans recognized a local 5-year-old girl who recently won an 11-month battle with cancer. Go Gold for Kids With Cancer is a fundraising initiative for the American Childhood Cancer Association. Currently, UNCG's women's soccer team has raised over 50 percent of its goal.
