Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro volleyball (7-10, 1-2) snapped a six-match slide while picking up its first Southern Conference victory of the season on Wednesday, as the Spartans defeated The Citadel 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-22) inside of Fleming Gymnasium.

--Junior Maria Esch posted a game-high 12 kills along with a team-best 11 digs.
--Freshman Gabriela McHugh once again led the team in assists with 28. The Ashley, Ind., native remains the SoCon lead in total assists.
--With the outcome, UNCG's advantage in the all-time series against The Citadel is now 31-4. The Spartans are now 14-1 in their last 15 meetings with the Bulldogs.

The Spartans will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they host Wofford for a 5 p.m. start in Fleming Gymnasium.
