GREENSBORO, N.C. - UNC Greensboro women's golf will continue spring play this weekend when the Spartans co-host the 22nd annual Bryan National Collegiate with Wake Forest at Bryan Park. The 54-hole tournament will begin Friday morning while the second and third rounds will take place on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

A Glance At The Squad
In their last tournament appearance, UNCG finished in 11th place at the Clover Cup at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz. It was the team's third tournament this spring, as the Spartans also participated in the Kiawah Island Classic (13th place) and the River Landing Classic (finished tied for 10th after the final two rounds were cancelled due to weather).
In UNCG's last tournament appearance in Greensboro, the Starmount Fall Classic last October, the Spartans finished in second place.
The Spartans will be represented in the Bryan National Collegiate by sophomores Tara Bettle, Keri Kenkel and Sara Rydman and seniors Lexi Kershaw and Natalia Asensio. Additionally, freshman Hailey Joy and junior Kendall Dobbins will be participating as individuals.
UNCG Will Be Joined By…
UNCG will be one of 17 teams in the tournament, joined by co-hosts Wake Forest along with Boston University, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Georgetown, Idaho, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, NC State, Ohio State, Oregon State, Tulsa, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
Additionally, Duke will have individuals participating.
