Series History

-- The Spartans are just 16-28 when facing the Terriers all-time, looking to break a three-game losing streak against Wofford

-- UNCG will be looking for revenge on the Terriers, dropping the pair's previous meeting during the 2019 SoCon Tournament final

Five Facts To Know

-- The Spartans are currently ranked No. 7 in College Insider's "Men's Mid-Major Top-25", and are ranked higher than every member of the C- USA, CAA, Big South, Big Sky, Big West, Sun Belt, OVC, WAC, Summit, Horizon, America East, NEC, MAAC, Patriot, SWAC and MEAC in the most recent NET rankings, at No. 68

-- Isaiah Miller now ranks 20th in Spartan scoring history at 1,100 points. The guard scored a career-high 31 points in the Spartans' victory over Mercer while breaking a program single game record with nine steals

-- Allowing just 55.3 points per game, the Spartan defense ranks fifth in the country. UNCG's +7.4 turnover margin sits second only to UNC Asheville (+7.6) for the top mark in Division I men's basketball

-- James Dickey now ranks fourth in Spartan history with 891 rebounds, he needs just 43 more boards to move into third all-time

-- The Spartans' 12-3 record ties their second-best start to a season in program history, trailing only the 13-2 record the team posted last year

The Terriers

-- The Terriers are one of the top three-point shooting teams in the country, with their 10.6 threes per game ranking sixth in the country

-- Wofford's shooting from range is boosted by junior guard Storm Murphy, whose 53.1 shooting percentage from beyond the arc is the top mark in the country

Coming Up Next

The Spartans come back home to host their fourth SoCon game of the season, facing off against ETSU at Greensboro Coliseum. UNCG is 14-16 against the Bucs all-time, and will already be looking for its 10th victory at home this year.
