LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team plays its second game here in the city along the banks of the beautiful Ohio River when it meets another tough opponent in Winthrop.

This will be the first meeting between these programs since a 76-63 UNCG victory on Dec. 22, 2000. This contest is also another battle between a pair of programs that were ranked in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major preseason top 25 poll.

Winthrop, the preseason favorites to win the Big South, was ninth and UNCG was 12th. This is Winthrop's season-opener while UNCG rallied from an 11-point first-half deficit to post a 77-70 victory on Friday. Little Rock, the preseason favorite to win the Sun Belt Conference, was fourth in the Mid-Major preseason top 25.

- Kaleb Hunter had a career high five assists against Little Rock.
- Hayden Koval has 279 career blocked shots after his seven in the season-opener. It was the 22nd time in his career that Koval has blocked at least five shots in a game.
- The seven blocked shots were tied for the second most in a single-game in UNCG history.
- With his 24-point outing against Little Rock, it was the 22nd time in his career that he's scored 20 or more points.
- Isaiah Miller is tied for seventh all-time in steals in Southern Conference history. With six more steals, Miller would move into the top-five in conference history.
- Three Spartans finished with at least five rebounds against Little Rock: Mohammed Abdulsalam -- seven, Hayden Koval – six and Angelo Allegri – five.
