CONWAY, S.C. - Sophia Adams and Hanna Giddings combined for a UNCG women's tennis doubles win on Saturday as the Spartans fell 7-0 to hosts Coastal Carolina.

Playing in the No. 2 seed, Adams and Giddings took their final by a score of 6-2 while playing together for the first time this year. Giddings now has a team best four wins in doubles play, grabbing her previous three in the top pairing with Erika Barquero.

Barquero would come within just a few points of earning her fourth win in singles play, taking her first set against Iryna Vardanian before falling to the Ukraine-national 10-7 in the tiebreaker.
