UNCG / Mercer |
GREENSBORO, N.C. – A pair of hot teams collide when UNC Greensboro (UNCG) hosts Mercer in a key Southern Division clash.
UNCG has won four consecutive games. Mercer has captured three straight contests. This matchup was supposed to take place on Saturday, Jan. 9 and then on Monday, Feb. 1. Now, it's being played Wednesday thanks to some schedule adjustments beyond UNCG and Mercer's control.
They were each left with an open date on Wednesday, Jan. 27. So here they are. Again, not even dating service apps can make these types of love connections.
Both squads are also receiving votes in this week's CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll.
