GREENVILLE, S.C. – The six-seeded UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's soccer team fought until the very last strike in the Southern Conference (SoCon) quarterfinal game against the third-seeded Western Carolina University, as the Catamounts won 1-0 in overtime Friday night at Stone Stadium.

How it Happened:
- 1st half – UNCG dominated possession but were unable to put away multiple chances in front of goal.
- 74:45 – With a collision on a clear attempt just outside the arc, the Catamounts set up for a close set piece. The Spartans set up with a five-person wall and Western Carolina struck it right into it.
- 91:15 – Tyler-Cooper made her sixth save of the night with a diving fingertip stop to the left, giving Western Carolina its second corner attempt of the night
- 92:03 – After the Catamounts' inswinger and then a long strike from midfield Kirsten Hahn dribbled the ball clear on the touchline and Valentine Pursey sent it just under the crossbar with the side of her foot for the game winner.
