th as a team at the Evie Odom Invitational, hosted by Old Dominion University on Monday.
The Spartans shot 13-over 293 on round two, combining for 40-over shooting 600.

Highlights
- Graduate student Tara Bettle shot even par on her first nine and then topped off the round shooting one-under on her second nine.
- Bettle combined for one-under 69, for her best round thus far, moving up to tied for 19th.
- Her two birdies today brings her total to five, where one of her two birdies was on the 510-yard hole eight, the third longest hole on the course.
- Senior Hailey Joy and freshman Gabriela Cruz led the Spartans during round two with three birdies each.
- Joy and Cruz improved by shooting five-over 75.
- Freshman Grace Holcomb shot even par on her first nine and then was two-over on her second nine, shooting 72 sitting tied for 56 overall.
- Sophomore Victoria Cook brings her total to four birdies at the tournament, having one on the 315-yard hole five on day two.
- Junior Anna Bowman had her first birdie of the tournament on the 15th hole shooting seven-over 77 today.

"It was nice to see the team bounce back today with a decent round. Tara shooting 69 and Grace 72 really carried our team today. I thought all the ladies did a great job fighting hard today and looking forward to trying to improve our position tomorrow."
