COREY CARLIN'S COURSE OF THOUGHT
"The momentum swings of this match, especially late, were actually good for us. If we really want to make a deep run this year, the next step of growth for our team is to stay patient and composed in moments of stress. Credit Furman for staying assertive and keeping the pressure on us. We have some things to polish but I'm proud of the effort, especially the last 5 points."
UPCOMING
The Spartans will head to Cullowhee, N.C. for an in-state matchup with SoCon rival, Western Carolina, on Wednesday, Oct. 13. The match is set for 6 p.m.
