GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) volleyball team will host the Furman Paladins and Wofford Terriers for two of its last three regular season home games this Friday and Saturday.
Prior to Saturday's match against Wofford, the Spartans will honor their senior class of

ABOUT THE SPARTANS
- UNCG lead the Southern Conference in six statistical categories: hitting percentage (.221), opponent hitting percentage (.163), assists (12.08), kills (13.38), blocks (2.32), and digs (17.69).
- Kayla White earned her second Player of the Month honor for the month of October. She finished the month with a 4.15 kills/s average, 18 service aces, and 21 total blocks.
- Gabriela McHugh is one of three setters in the nation to have over 1,000 assists this season. The junior has a total of 1,004.
- Grey Breen is second in the Southern Conference in hitting percentage. Breen has posted a .303 percentage (221-70-498).
- Hannah Knier is second in the SoCon in blocks. The middle blocker is averaging 1.13 blocks per set. She is currently 28th in the nation with 105 total blocks this season.
SCOUTING THE PALADINS
- Furman is coming off a 3-0 loss to The Citadel on Wednesday night. The Paladins are now 7-15 on the season, 2-10 in the conference.
- Bella Tolone led the Paladins with eight kills against the Bulldogs. She also added seven digs.
- Andrea Aceveda and Kaeli Braswell were the lone Paladins to serve an ace in the match.
- Neci Harris, Natalie Dunn, and Kelsey Watkins each posted a solo block against The Citadel. Harris tagged three assisted blocks to her total.
- Sarah Turner dished out 10 assists in the match, while Ella Abraham followed with nine.
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
- Wofford is coming off a 3-1 win over The Citadel last Wednesday for their home finale of the 2021 season.
- Kennedy Smith, Sarah Barham, and Sarah MacLean each posted 10+ kills in the match. Smith and Barham led with 16, while MacLean followed with 14.
- Setter Emily Hodson dished out 55 assists in the match bringing her season total to 843.
- Emory Wyatt and Barham posted four solo blocks each. Both added three block assists to their match total.
- Three Terriers had double digit digs in the match: Kaitlyn Brown (18), Kennedy Smith (16), and Robyn Krouse (10).
