GREENSBORO -- Will Fullett rallied for a 2-6, 7-5, 6-0 victory over UNCG's Copper Wyett at sixth singles to clinch Wofford's 4-3 win over the Spartans in a Southern Conference men's match Saturday afternoon at UNCG Tennis Courts.
UNCG sophomore
Alexander Zuckerman evened his singles record at 3-3, defeating Bryce Keim 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 at fifth singles.
The Spartans'
Nico Grewe won a marathon at third singles, beating Ashe Ray 6-7 (3-7), 7-6 (7-3), 10-5.Â
UNCG's
Hugh Knapp beat Callum Rendle in straight sets to win at second singles.
Roger Rogowski and
Christopher Johns won at third doubles for UNCG, beating Will Fullett and Rya 7-6 (7-3) in a tiebreaker. But Wofford won the other two matches to take the doubles point.
UNCG (0-6) plays a non-conference match at Gardner-Webb at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
