Spartans Sit 3rd Through 18 in Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The UNCG women's golf team sits in third place after the first round of the Low Country Intercollegiate after shooting a 304 (+16).

Tara Bettle (T5) leads the Spartans shooting 73 (+1) and is followed closely by Anna Grace Brock (T12) at 75 (+3) and Sara Rydman (T17) with 76 (+4). Hailey Joy (T49) shot an 80 (+8) and Victoria Cook (T67) shot 84 (+12).

Head coach Ashley Leonard's group will look to remain on the podium through the second round on March 14.

About the Course

The Bear Creek Golf Course is a par 72 (36-36) totaling 5,906 yards.
