GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG women's golf team posted a valiant effort in its competition at the Low Country Invitational finishing fourth as a team and Tara Bettle finishing second among players.

The Spartans shot 602 (+26) across two rounds placing them above hosts and conference rivals Wofford, as well as The Citadel.

Bettle (2) shot 142 (-2), Sara Rydman (T24) and Anna Grace Brock (T24) shot 152 (+8), Hailey Joy (T36) finshed with 156 (+12), and Victoria Cook (T56) shot 161 (+17).

What's Next
Ashley Leonard, head coach, and her Spartans will head to the Pinehurst Challenge for their first home state challenge of the year from March 29 to 30.
