GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team has little time to savor its six-goal explosion because it hits the road for another challenge. This time the Spartans visit Virginia under the lights.

This is the first of two consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) opponents for the Spartans, who begin the meat-and-potatoes portion of their non-conference slate. As the Spartans have a home date against Radford sandwiched in between critical contests against Virginia and Clemson.

First up are the Cavaliers, a program like UNCG that has received votes in the national polls at some point this season.

A LOOK AT THE SPARTANS
  • UNCG is the preseason favorite to win the Southern Conference.
  • The Spartans walloped Winthrop, 6-0, Saturday in their first road match of the season.
