GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's soccer team concludes its regular season schedule traveling to The Citadel on Friday, October 21 and Mercer on Sunday, October 23.  
 
The Spartans enter the weekend 7-7-2 overall and 3-3-1 in SoCon play.
The Bulldogs are 8-7 overall and 3-4 in conference play.
The Bears are 8-3-5 overall and 3-1-3 in SoCon play.
 
SOCON PLAYOFFS
  • With all SoCon teams playing their last regular season games this weekend, the playoff seedings will be determined on Sunday following the last game of the day.
  • UNCG is currently in a three-way tie with Furman and Western Carolina with 10 points for fifth, but the Spartans and Paladins have the same winning percentage.    
SPARTANS' LAST TIME OUT
  • UNCG enter the weekend on a two-game win streak, where the Spartans shut out Furman, 3-0, and Wofford, 4-0, at home.
  • Against the Terriers, Eliza Radoll, Nadia Wilson, Gabi Santora, and Ava Kiss scored.
  • Emma Malone and Abby Buchholz split time in net for the combined shutout.
  • Kiss and Wilson also had an assist for three points, while Morgan Brubaker also tallied a helper.
  • This was the sixth shutout for the Spartans this season.
