GREENSBORO, N.C. - The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team opens its 14th season inside the Greensboro Coliseum Thursday with a non-conference match against Towson. The contest begins a short two-game homestand inside the Greensboro Coliseum before the Thanksgiving holiday.

- UNCG makes its first of two national television appearances Tuesday, February 7 when the Spartans host East Tennessee State at 7 p.m. in a contest airing on ESPNU.
- The Spartans will spend the Thanksgiving holiday in Laval, Quebec, Canada, participating in the Northern Classic November 25-27. UNCG will face Montana State, Hofstra, and Stephen F. Austin inside Place Bell Arena.
