From Head Coach Mike Jones
"Our defense was tough, we had some opportunities to score, and we didn't convert a couple of times. It is difficult to win if you don't put points on the board. We did show some fight. A&T made some tough shots, including some at the end of the shot clock at times. On the other end, when we have opportunities, we have to convert. Defensively we took a step, we have to clean up and talk on the court. Offensively, we have to keep working, we still have to operate with confidence."
Records
UNCG: 3-5
NC A&T: 4-4
