PALM CITY, Fla. – Nick Lyerly and
Symon Balbin led the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team during the first round of the Advance Golf Partners tournament Sunday afternoon.
As usual, Lyerly, who is one of the best golfers in the country, is near the top of the leaderboard. He is tied for third overall after shooting a four-under 68. Lyerly is one of 30 finalists for the distinguished Ben Hogan Award.
Meanwhile, Balbin finished tied for 20th overall after his one-under 71.
