JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team wrapped up its first tournament of the second half of its season taking 13
th overall at the two-day Sea Best Intercollegiate.

Tara Bettle led the way tying for eighth overall, while freshman
Grace Holcomb sank the first eagle of her collegiate career. The other eagle was on September 14 by
Hailey Joy at the GolfWeek Challenge at Caledonia Golf Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.

How It Happened: Round Two
- Bettle tallied three birdies in round two, including on the 414-yard seventh hole, 414-yard 13th hole, and the 484-17th hole.
- This was her best round of the tournament shooting 73 (+1), sitting fifth after two rounds.
- Grace Holcomb and junior Anna Bowman each tallied two birdies in the second round.
- Holcomb also saw her best round shooting four-over 76, where she was one-under on the front nine.
- Victoria Cook shot her first birdie of the tournament on the 471-yard hole three, while also shooting plus-two on the front nine.
- Freshman Ava Romfo shot her third birdie of the tournament also on the third hole.
How It Happened: Round Three
- During really tough conditions during round three, Holcomb shot the first eagle of her collegiate career on the 333-yard par four hole four.
- She led the Spartans on the front nine, shooting one-over.
- Romfo was the only Spartan during round three to add to her birdie total, totaling three in the final round.
- Her three were on the 148-yard par-three hole eight, the 414-yard par-four hole 13, and the 376-yard par-four hole 18.
