GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's soccer team adds two more to the class of 2026 after signing four in November.
Ryen Ortiz and Taylor Mentzer hail from California and Pennsylvania, respectively, adding to the already variety of Spartans previously signed.
"Ryen and Taylor are wonderful additions to our program and they are excited to be Spartans and help us get back to competing for a SoCon championship," stated head coach
Michael Coll. "Both of them has learned and grown within strong soccer cultures at their top level clubs and we expect these two additional players to fit into our program successfully right away."

• Named Offensive Player of the Year, All-League first team, Scholar-Athlete Award, Golden Boot Award, Offensive MVP, and selected to the Sportsmanship Team
Taylor Mentzer
Midfielder | Exeter Township High School | Reading, Pa.
• Plays club for FC Revolution Soccer
• Plays soccer and softball at Exeter Township
• Earned USYS Best XI Team Selection, Nationals 2
nd Top Scorer, and East Region Top Scorer
• Named to All-Division 1 Berks County 3x in soccer & once in softball, All-Berks County second team
