MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Nick Lyerly and
Randall Hudson led the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team during the final day of the General Hackler Championship Tuesday afternoon.
The day started with the conclusion of the second round, which was suspended to darkness on Sunday, and ended with the third round.

How It Happened
Third Round
- Lyerly, ranked 16th in the latest GolfStat individual player rankings, ended the tournament with his best round, a four-under 68.
- Overall, Lyerly finished tied for 21st in the tournament featuring 10 top 50 programs.
- Lyerly was two-under for the tournament as he finished with a tournament score of 214.
- Hudson carded a one-under 71 in the final round.
- Hudson was tied for 33rd overall with a three-round total of 217.
- Lyerly and Hudson combined for 10 birdies.
- They each birdied the seventh, eighth, and 15th holes during the final round.
- Tommy Lamb's one-over 73 was highlighted by five birdies.
- Lamb also birdied the seventh and eighth holes.
- Four of UNCG's golfers birdied the seventh hole.
- The Spartans shot a final round 287, six strokes better than their second-round score of 293.
