KENNESAW, Ga. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team is tied for sixth after two rounds of the Pinetree Women's Collegiate.
The Spartans shot 307 on round one and 304 on round two, for a total of 611 (+35). UNCG is tied with Jacksonville State. Graduate Student
Tara Bettle is tied for fifth to lead the Spartans.
From Bettle
"After a solid first round but without any birdies, I was finally able to put my whole game together in the second round and finish under par. I like the greens here, so thankfully my putting has been pretty good. This course is not easy, so I'm proud of everyone fighting for every shot today! We are only a few shots out of third and second, so I'm excited to see what we can get done tomorrow as a team!"
