Spartans Headed To ETSU For Friday Match

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team starts the month of April with a trip to meet East Tennessee State in a Southern Conference match at the Dave Mullins Tennis Complex beginning Friday at 3 p.m.

A Look At UNCG

UNCG is 2-1 in Southern Conference play with wins over Samford and The Citadel.
The Spartans dropped a tough 4-3 decision to Wofford last Friday.
UNCG got victories from its top three singles players Nico Grewe, Alexander Zuckerman, and Hugh Knapp against Wofford.
Roger Rogowski and Grewe won at No.1 singles for UNCG, 7-6.
Knapp leads UNCG with 10 singles victories.
Knapp has won five straight matches at No. 3 singles.
Grewe was nine victories at No. 1 singles.
Rogowski has won six singles matches.
The doubles tandem of Cooper Wyett and Knapp are 6-2 overall.

A Look at ETSU

The Bucs are ranked 73rd in the latest ITA national poll.
ETSU is 12-5 overall and 2-0 in the Southern Conference.
The Bucs captured the 63rd Ralph O'Connor Rice Invitational Championship with a 4-1 win over Rice this past Sunday in its last outing.
ETSU has won nine of its last 10 matches overall, only dropping a 4-3 decision to 43rd-ranked Charlotte on March 20.
Juan Sebastian Zabala has won 11 straight matches at No. 6 singles.
Yusuf Khamis is 6-4 during the spring season.
Frazier Rengifo has 10 singles wins and Thiago Pernas has nine singles victories.
