GREENSBORO, N.C. – Playing against its second consecutive nationally-ranked opponent, the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Furman on Sunday in a Southern Conference contest.
The visiting Paladins entered the contest ranked 36th in the latest ITA national poll. Furman won its fifth consecutive match and earned its 17th victory of the season.
UNCG battled Furman strong with long rallies, nice plays, and never quitting on balls despite the final score. Freshman
