2022 NCAA DI women's golf regional selections announced
GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team graduate student
Tara Bettle was selected as an individual to compete at the NCAA Regional in Franklin, Tennessee by the NCAA Women's Golf Committee, as announced Wednesday afternoon on the Golf Channel.
Bettle was one of six individuals to earn a spot in the NCAA Franklin Regional. The competition will be from May 9 to May 11 at the Vanderbilt Legends Club North Course. Vanderbilt was also the host site for the 2012 NCAA Women's Golf Championships.

The Berlin, Germany native is the first Spartan since Fanny Cnops who was selected to the 2012 and 2013 NCAA Regional Championships. Bettle was most recently
There are six regional sites for the first time and 12 teams and six individuals will compete at each site. There were 27 automatic qualifying teams and 45 at-large bids. There were 36 individuals that were selected for a regional.
The top four teams from each regional advance to the NCAA championships and the top two individuals from non-advancing teams at each regional advance to the NCAA Championships.
The 2022 Division I women's golf national championship will be played from May 20-25 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
