SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Two hits each from
Kennedy Jones,
Pres Cavenaugh, and
Greg Hardison fueled UNCG's 10-hit attack during a 5-2 setback to Wofford in a Southern Conference contest at King Field Saturday afternoon.
UNCG applied consistent pressure throughout the contest as it had a runner on base in eight of the nine innings.

How It Happened
- The Spartans started fast as the first three hitters in the lineup registered a hit.
- Hardison's two-run double in the first inning gave UNCG a quick 2-0 lead.
- Jones, who singled, and Cavenaugh, who doubled, scored on Hardison's 201st career hit.
- Windish doubled and Mitchell Smith singled with two outs in the third inning.
- Windish also walked twice.
- In the ninth inning, the Spartans had their first two hitters (Dallas Callahan and Jones) reach base with singles.
