FRANKLIN, Tenn. – UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf graduate student Tara Bettle moved up 14 spots on the player leaderboard after round two of the NCAA Regional in Franklin.   
 
Bettle teed off at 9:55 a.m. EST (8:55 a.m. CST) from hole ten at the Vanderbilt Legends Club's North Course. She was paired with individual competitors Payton Carter of Murray State and Annie Kim of Houston.
 
The North Course is a par 72 and is 6,450 yards. There are four par three holes, 10 par four holes, and four par five holes.
 
Bettle is tied for 36^th after two rounds. On the front nine she shot even par with two birdies, on hole one and five. The Berlin, Germany native shot one-over on the back nine with four birdies.
 
Over two rounds she has shot seven birdies and has totaled 150. She is tied with five other competitors.

"I am proud of how I was able to fight back to even par twice today after a few bad holes. I finally putted good and was able to make a lot of birdies, which definitely helped. It was a fun round today, and I'm so excited to go out and give it my best again tomorrow for the final round!"
