Quote from Bettle on her play
"Even though I did not qualify for the National Championship, I am happy with my performance and proud that I improved gradually from day-to-day. I am super happy that I was able to go out there today and shoot under par in my last college tournament round ever but walking off the 18th green after making my final putt was definitely a bittersweet feeling.
"This week surely was one to remember and I am glad I got to experience it with both of my coaches. I am beyond grateful for the last five years at UNCG and can't wait to see what the next chapter holds!"
Quote from head coach Ashley Leonard
"What an incredible journey this has been with Tara the last three years. She has worked so hard and for her to be able to finish her career today shooting under par was just a perfect ending. This week has been an awesome experience for her and I am glad to be a small part of it. We will certainly miss her next year but she has left a positive mark on our program and university."
