College Soccer News 2022 Top 30 Men's Teams
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team, which is currently ranked 19th in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll, climbed to No. 16 in the College Soccer News poll.
The Spartans also earned their first ranking in the TopDrawerSoccer poll, sitting 15th overall.
Currently, the Spartans are also No. 5 in the United Soccer Coaches South Region sandwiched between ACC opponents Louisville at No. 4 and Pittsburgh at No. 6.
Currently the Spartans are second in total assists (18), total goals (19), and total points (56). UNCG is also third in points per game (11.20) and scoring offense (3.80), fourth in assists per game (3.60), goal differential (14), and shots on goal per game (9.00), ninth in won-lost-tied percentage (0.900), 11th in shots per game (17.80), and 22nd in corner kicks per game (7.20).
Most recently, UNCG tied VCU 2-2 on the road, after winning four-straight games at home.
This is the best start in program history since 2004 when the Spartans went 4-0-1 to begin the season and 19-3-1 overall. In Head Coach
